Breaking Expectations

A Humans mission in life is to reach certain expectations, certain goals. As a person is born the hopes and dreams of others becomes what this person wants to be, unconsciously the mind gets entrapped looking thru the eyes and experiences of others. Steve jobs has lived his live in a matter that when people hear his live story it makes them reevaluate the way their living their life. How can you not admire a person who wishes another person to reevaluate their live? Steve Jobs stated at a commencement speech at Stafford, “Your time is limited, so don’t wasted living somebody else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living through somebody else’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drawn out your own inner voice, and most important have the courage to follow your own heart and intuition, they somehow already know what you truly want to become, everything else is secondary”. A person should not be born just to reach the expectations or to become something or someone they should live to breaks expectations and to become greatness and Steve Jobs embodies what a human should live for.

how long will it take 1? 2? 17? 1734946? Don't know!

Jobs is listed as either primary inventor or co-inventor in over 230 awarded patents, according to the Encyclopedia of World Biography, that’s a mind blowing statistic even if just half of those numbers are true that would still be an amazing number. How long would it take for a human being as talented as he may be to organize the thoughts to come up with so many inventions and not any inventions, patented inventions. A great deal of dedication must be devoted to such accomplishments. I can’t even fathom to think on the hours and sleepless nights spent to reach some of these inventions the rest of his accomplishments I won’t even try, that’s a whole other subject. Innovation and creativity is a beautiful thing, it can take a decade to form an idea that can revolutionize and industry and can turn a world upside down, just as it may take a millisecond for another idea to be born and revolve the whole world for any industry as we know it. 1? 2? 37858? Or 000.1, done!     Let your mind E-magine

"Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower."

Success also distinguishes the difference between a leader and a follower, the quote coming from Steve Jobs himself. How much be said about a person who seems to breath and walk in the shoes of innovation itself. This success is nothing new to him either, this is not a fluke or a stolen idea. Steve has been in the art of creating and innovating since his days in high school.  At the age of 16 Steve and his long time friend Steve Wozniak managed to build their first computer and selling it starting what we know today as the world of apple. It has been an incredible ride for Steve and somehow from the lowest he can go like the turbulent years of the late 70’s to the glorifying age of the late 90’s. His dedication to innovation has made him who he is known as today or at least in my eyes he is known as the Guru of hi-tech.

Rite of Passage

If I may, I will start this session with a common yet difficult question. What does it take for a man/woman to truly feel successful? When that question comes to mind two names jump out at me, like a clown in a dark room, Michael Jordan and Steve Jobs. What more can be said about the accomplishments made by Jordan when it comes to athletics, other than greatest who’s ever lived. Some may come after him accomplishing feats of Michael Jordan’s stature but none like him, charismatic, humble, family man and incredibly gifted with a basketball in his hands. I consider Steve Jobs as the Michael Jordan of innovation and technology. Steve jobs has become a name synonymous with Hi-tech devices, from co-founding the first personal computer to introducing the breakthrough in the internet by the adaptation of WIFI.
